Commenting on Robert’s work the well renowned Irish artist Lennon made this remark:

“Although everyone seems to want to make art understandable, the really interesting thing is that it escapes, its somewhere at the edge of consciousness, of what we can be aware of, that is its value”

Artist Statement

“To me all art is ultimately about perception.  I’m fascinated by the interconnectedness of things and through my work seek to explore space both visible and invisible. I like to think my work alludes to a type of visual poetry that emerges from a space where experience, memory and imagination collide through the interaction of materials and printmaking processes.”
